Questions
Is there an app to download?
No app store needed. Waypoint is a web app: open it in your phone's browser and choose “Add to Home Screen.” It opens like an app.
Does Waypoint track my location?
No. Waypoint doesn't use GPS or track you in the background. You enter each trip's start and end, and Waypoint looks up the driving distance. That means no battery drain. You do need to log each trip yourself.
How does the trial work?
Solo includes a 15-day full trial with no credit card needed. After that, choose $4.99/month, $39.99/year, or a $6.99 one-time 30-day pass.
How does Team pricing work?
Team pricing is graduated per user, per month. Users 1–25 are $8 each, users 26–100 are $7 each, and users 101 and up are $6 each. Each band's rate applies only to the users in that band. For example, 30 users cost 25 × $8 + 5 × $7 = $235 per month. Prepay annually for 10% off the $8 and $7 bands. There is no annual discount on the $6 band. The minimum is $150/mo, which covers up to 18 users. There's no separate user minimum.
What if we add users mid-year on an annual prepay?
Users added mid-year to a prepaid plan pay the full monthly band rate, without the 10% prepay discount, for the months left in the term. For example, with 6 months left, each added user costs 6 × the full band rate.
Can you build custom reports or features?
Yes. Specialized reports and custom programming are quoted per project. Contact us with what you need.
Are there limits?
Solo includes up to 150 trips and 300 distance lookups per month.
Who signs the report?
On Solo, you sign the exported PDF yourself. Organization deployments can route it for e-signature: employee, then supervisor.
What rate does Waypoint use?
On Team and Organization plans, an admin sets the dollars-per-mile rate. Solo rate settings: [confirm].
